Community Involvement

Charity and volunteerism are two vital cornerstones of Petra Industries. Petra team members work hard to make a resonating social impact in the local community, seeking out organizations and causes that resonate with individuals and families in need.

Giving back starts internally at Petra. We established The Petra Big Heart Alliance as a financial assistance program to aid financially burdened employees and their families in times of need.

Petra is continuously involved with several charities and organizations that focus on impacting lives for generations to come. To help our team members have the opportunity to volunteer and serve, we offer paid employee volunteer hours. Employees are encouraged to perform charity work during working hours without having to use vacation or sick leave.

At Petra, we are committed to helping others and those closest to us. The Petra Big Heart Alliance is an employee financial assistance program made to aid those near and dear to us in their time of need. It is hard to see a person or family struggle to get by, and even harder when that person is a team member and friend. Throughout the year, team members donate to the Big Heart Alliance and volunteer time and resources to support internal fundraisers. All monies raised by team members is matched by the company to ensure a fund is readily available throughout the year.
