- Instant channel 9/19 for quick access to emergency and information channels
- Dual-mode AM/FM allows you to access both AM and FM channels to communicate with more users and with better sound quality; can communicate with older AM-only CB radios; no need to replace existing antenna
- Transmit and receive with ultra-clear sound quality with DSP (Digital Signal Processing)
- Squelch/auto squelch; auto continuously evaluates and squelches any background noise
- Enable VOX hands-free operation to automatically transmit your voice when you speak

- Waterproof rating (IP66) so you can head out in any kind of weather; handset must be connected and locked to black box; when powered through 12-volt power adapter or plugged into your vehicle's USB port, the radio itself remains waterproof but water may be able to penetrate at those alternative power connection points
