Solderlene from Highside Chemicals is a high-quality, solder-paste-type, nonacid soldering flux. It features industrial-strength wetting agents to promote solder flow. Use it with low and mid-temperature solders and soft solders—both lead and lead-free. Effective on all metals except aluminum and magnesium. Solderlene is a smooth, superior quality petroleum-based flux, especially formulated for use in extreme climate temperatures all year long. Unlike competitors that become semi-liquid when stored at high temperatures and stiff at low temperatures, Solderlene will not lose its consistency. It is made for sweat soldering most common metals EXCEPT aluminum. It is a self-cleaning and lead-free formula that covers and flows better than competitive products. It chemically removes oxides on contact and prevents oxidation during heating. Solderlene acts as a wetting agent in the soldering process, reducing the surface tension of the molten solder, causing it to flow and wet the workpieces more easily.
